An Office Staple

I have a friend who can never remember which side of the paper to staple, and this makes me laugh every time I see a stapler. I think to myself, really? Do you also forget which direction to read? If you are someone who suffers from the same problem, I apologize for laughing at you, but you have to admit, it's pretty funny.

I think it's safe to say that while the stapler is definitely recognized as an office necessity, its decorative possibilities are often neglected. I myself am guilty of this, until now. In planning out my new work space, I am swapping out my 12 year old particle board computer desk for a huge, heavy piece of solid wood fabulousness from Tyler's shop that has been the office desk there since way before I was born. It's so awesome I'm even cutting out my door jambs to get it in.

Anyways, I just couldn't demean such a classic piece of construction by sitting my black plastic stapler on top of it. So, I need your help picking out a new (old) one, cause you know how bad I am with decisions. Here are my favorites:
