Acquired: We've had him since he was a mere 8 weeks years old, and we got him from a local breeder.

Favorite Activities: It's a toss-up between swimming and eating, but I'd say swimming probably edges eating out 9/10 times! He likes a good game of tug war, winning, and then beating his big o' barrel of a chest with his rope in victory!

Where do you and Magellan call home?
San Francisco Bay Area in northern California

Tell us about your blog, temptalia, and what else keeps you busy
My blog is all about beauty and makeup - reviews, how-tos, tips, news, you name it. If it has to do with the beauty world, it's fair game! When I'm not blogging, I'm busy being a full-time graduate student in a JD/MBA program.

If Magellan could help with your blog, what would his job be?
He would do PR! He would just be like, "Hey, I'm cute, don't you think we're a great blog?"

Tell us about the first pet you ever had
My first pet was a mixed terrier we rescued when he was around two years old. His name was Willy, and he only recently passed away — lived to be an amazing 17 years old (with nary a health issue until two weeks before he passed). He was always more my dad's dog than mine, but he was an easy going fella!

What animal does your personality most resemble and why?
Cheetah. I am go-go-go! I like to do things quickly, efficiently, and love to cross things off my to-do list.

What is the best thing about being a pet parent?
You have someone to pour all your love into who always loves you back and never talks back :) Plus, you get someone you can spoil rotten!
